Student participants had the opportunity to earn a scholarship from U of M Crookston through the Global Challenge Paper
Professor Emeritus Jerome “Jerry” Knutson was also recognized at the event for receiving the 2024 University of Minnesota President’s Award for Outstanding Service.
Recipients included a student from each of the campus departments.
Konte was a first generation college student and received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico where he majored in business administration with a minor in accounting.
