International Dinner featuring Madeleine Schneider and Norden Bista
University of Minnesota Crookston’s long standing traditional International Dinner event will return Monday, March 27, 2023. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. in Bede Ballroom and will feature presentations from international students, Madeleine “Maddi” Schneider of Germany, and Norden Bista of Nepal.

University of Minnesota Crookston post-secondary student, Caleb Mendez, will be performing a solo piano recital March 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Kiehle Auditorium. Mendez is a pianist, cellist, composer, and piano tuner based out of Crookston, Minn.
Rosemary Erickson Johnsen, Ph.D.
The University of Minnesota Crookston is pleased to announce Rosemary Erickson Johnsen, Ph.D., has been named the next Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Johnsen currently serves as the division head for Business, Arts, and Education, and will start her new role May 1, 2023.

University of Minnesota Crookston is lucky enough to have a wide variety of international students and three of those students include Madeleine Schneider, Tseten Gurung, and Tsebaot Getachew. These three come from their own unique backgrounds, and have formed a strong friendship that is sure to last a lifetime.
